Couriers

Creating an account, assigning orders, and the cash a courier is carrying.

Money and team → Couriers: name, phone, login and password. A courier cannot register themselves — only you issue the account.

A courier has three states: Off duty, Free, Busy. You assign an order from the panel.

Cash in hand

On a cash delivery the money stays with the courier and reaches the till when it is handed in. That is why the cash report shows it separately — anybody investigating a shortfall asks for that figure first.

⚠A courier handing in cash is not an expense: it is cash collected on our behalf arriving in the till. Recording it as an expense means subtracting the restaurant's own revenue from itself.
