Connecting a printer
Receipt printer at the till, kitchen printer in the kitchen — both connect the same way.
A printer connects to the till computer (by USB or over the network) and is then chosen in the till program. The panel does not see printers directly.
- 1Install the printer in Windows as usual and print a test page. If that does not work, nothing after it will.
- 2In the till program open Settings → Printers.
- 3Pick the printer from the list — the names come from Windows itself.
- 4Give each one a job: Receipt, Kitchen or Bar.
- 5Press Test print.
You do not need to share the printer on the network (net share). The program asks Windows for the printer name; a shared path is only the fallback.
⚠Do not give one printer two jobs. A restaurant printing the kitchen ticket on the same roll as the guest's receipt ends up reprinting both.
