Dish photos

Photos sell — and heavy photos slow the site down. Both are handled.

The photo is uploaded on the dish form. The system keeps several sizes and serves the right one: small to a phone, large to a desktop.

JPG or PNG. Something close to square looks best.
You can upload a large file — the system resizes it.
A dish without a photo still looks fine: the name and a colour are shown instead.

Shoot in one style: same background, same light, same angle. Then the menu reads as a finished product rather than an album collected from six phones.
