Attendance: clocking in and out

The employee presses «I'm here» on their phone — and location is checked.

On /staff the employee presses Clock in. The phone's location is checked: they have to be within 50 metres of the restaurant.

The radius is set in SettingsBranch. 50 metres, deliberately, not 5: phone GPS is 10–30 metres in the open and worse indoors. A radius smaller than the error catches no cheat and leaves an honest employee standing outside.

The calendar

Money and teamStaff → the employee. Every day is coloured: on schedule, under, over, or absent. That state is stored nowhere — it is a comparison of the roster and the shifts.

  • A shift is recorded on the day it started: a cook leaving at 00:40 closes Tuesday.
  • An empty rostered day reads as a day off and blames nobody.
  • A second clock-in is refused — two open shifts would double every hour in the calendar.
Manual correction is deliberately kept: phones die, clock-outs get forgotten. An attendance system you cannot correct is abandoned in the second week. Every correction is signed by whoever made it.
