Pay and payments

Money and team → Payroll. Per person, per period: days worked, amount earned, amount paid and the balance.

A salary is divided across the month's rostered days and earned per day attended — so somebody who started mid-month or missed a week still comes out right.

A payment is a record, not a counter: it carries the period it settles and who handed it over. Once April has begun, «how much did we pay in March» still has an answer.
