Branches and brands
One restaurant, a chain, or two brands in one building — all three work.
A brand is a menu and a site. A branch is a building with a door: its own address, hours, till, store and staff.
- One restaurant — one brand, one branch. Nothing ever asks you to choose.
- A chain — one brand, several branches. The menu is shared; prices and stock are per branch.
- Two concepts in one building — two brands, two sites, one till.
A branch picker appears at the top of the panel when there is more than one. Orders, till and store screens follow that choice.
⚠Store screens require a branch and will not open without one. «The company holds 9 kg of meat», spread across three fridges, is a number nobody can count and nobody can order against — so the screen asks which building.
⚠Delivery is switched on per branch. Left off in two of them, it is the quietest failure there is: the form looks filled in, nothing errors, and the order from one district drives to the other side of town.
