Opening hours and holidays

When the site takes orders and when the till reads the stop list.

Settings → Opening hours: an opening and closing time for each weekday. The site shows «Open now» or «Closed» from them.

For a place that works past midnight the closing time is the smaller number: 10:00 – 02:00 means «until the next day».

⚠With the hours empty the site treats the restaurant as closed and takes no orders. This is the most common cause of «the site is not taking orders» on day one.

If a till system is connected, the stop list starts being read 15 minutes before opening and stops after closing. Nobody empties a pot at four in the morning — that would be a request for nothing.
