Stocktake: counting

You write down what is on the shelf — and from that moment «should be there» is measured.

Store → Stocktake. The ingredient list appears and you enter the counted quantity for each.

The expected figure is not shown until you enter yours. An empty box next to «should be 9.4» is a sheet with 9.4 written into it.

⚠Where there is a difference, a note is required. A discrepancy saved quietly is a shortfall erased by the person who may have caused it.

Counting on a phone

An employee signs in at yoursite.uz/staff/stock and counts standing in the store. When counting happens in the store and writing happens in the office, the number written twice is wrong on the second pass — and that error lands in the difference column, where it is indistinguishable from a shortfall.

⚠This permission is granted separately (Staff → employee → «Store»). A count writes the baseline every later shortfall is measured against, which means a saved count silently forgives everything that went missing before it.

Preps are not counted: a prep is a pot cooked this morning, and what it was made from is already in the count of its ingredients. Counting both would subtract the tomatoes twice.
